Thanks Debbie! Sunday's Democratic debate is in prime-time on network television.

Just a quick heads up in the hope of clearing up any confusion.

Sunday night on NBC at 9pm, Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, and Martin O’Malley will gather in Charleston, South Carolina for the fourth debate of this Democratic primary. With Iowa polls showing a tightening race (sorry Martin) and Sanders and Clinton both going on the offensive it should make for entertaining viewing.

Artist rendering of my plans for Sunday evening

Also on Sunday, there will be two NFL divisional playoff games.

I know what you’re thinking:

Wasserman!

But these events do not overlap.

The second game on Sunday is the Broncos vs. Steelers. The game starts at 4:40pm ET. It will likely be over before 8pm (games are generally about 3 hours long, though it’s hard to say exactly when the game will end since the networks like to lard playoff games with extra commercials).

This debate is also coming just three days after last evening’s Republican spew-for-all.

The timing of this debate as both a rebuttal to the Republicans and a showcase for our candidates as crunch time nears could not be better.
